Course Description:

This intense 3 day course will supplement the student's existing handgun training with advanced gunfighting skills based on the the Modern Technique of the Pistol and real-world experience. Course material includes practical marksmanship, gun-handling, continuity of fire, malfunction clearances, shooting with movement, mental conditioning for combat, use of cover, wounded drills, one hand manipulation, ground fighting, weapon retention, and more. It incorporates full contact defensive tactics with live fire shooting. This is NOT a basic course, and is physically challenging. Students will be expected to already have a strong foundation of gunhandling skills prior to entering this class.
Equipment:

• Safe reliable handgun, 9mm minimum

• Quality holster, belt and magazine pouches. Holster should allow for one-handed reholstering

• Minimum of 2 spare magazines. More is better.

• Eye and ear protection (remember clear lenses for night shoot)

• Elbow and Knee Pads

• Concealed carry gear (cover garment) or tactical gear for LE/Military (wear what you are likely to fight in)

• Push button flashlight for night shoot portion of the class

• 900 rounds of quality ammunition that runs reliably in your handgun

• A spare handgun is not a bad idea in case your primary goes down.
