Course Description:

This course is a cornerstone for  survival with a handgun at extreme close quarters, conversational ranges and in confined areas of operation. Students are trained in handgun retention and counter retention. These modern skills are not specific to weapon type and are effective from a variety of positions. Focus is placed on operator safety with regards to retention of holstered firearms, un-holstered firearms, handgun retention, counter-retention, from standing and on the ground including a variety of skills which are often ignored such as handgun take-away skills and defeating furtive presentation of a handgun.
